Projects: Personalization
Make It Your Own
There’s so much that I can’t possibly list it all here. But in short: want to add a personal touch to a product, wedding invitation, cutting board—or, well, anything you can think of? It’s possible!
Take, for example, the glass panel etched with a beloved dog’s portrait. Or the nameplate, elegantly carved for an old boat called De Looie Pijp, given as a heartfelt gift to its owner. Then there were the birth announcements, designed exactly to match the parents’ vision. Oh, and those wedding invitations for a couple who wanted everything in black ;)
For a sailing event, I engraved champagne glasses for the post-race celebrations. As a belated birthday gift, I personalized a whiskey glass with the recipient’s initials. To fix a stained handbag, I crafted a stylish leather patch to cover up the stain—even adding to the original. And then there was the record label, permanently laser-marked on a stainless-steel saw blade… just because you can :) These are the projects that stick with you.
With a laser cutter, custom work like this is done in a breeze, turning ideas into unique, tangible pieces in a matter of moments. And with CNC routing, the possibilities expand even further. Think large-scale logos precision-cut from durable HPL panels, or crisp, carved text using V-carving techniques.
Let the examples here inspire you—but remember, this is just the beginning. Got a wild idea? Let’s make it happen!
